@Amarventris On floor yes. But she was very strong in 1991 which is why she had a good reptuation and she had excellent compulsories which held her up also

@mvtwo2008 AGREE. Most of her injuries came from floor routines. She should have mastered the triple twist early in her career as well as a double twising fly away from bars, Vault she was solid on and didnt need to practice it so much. She is a gymnast who was over trained. Also her splits were weak for a dancer

@cherrymangocitrus No, I'm pretty sure she meant underrated :)

What was her score for this routine?

i'll break the tie and say she got the respect she deserved. she was taller but also fairly artistic with great lines. the international judges respected her especially on bars & beam. bela made sure 2 get her healthy enough 2 b on this olympic team b/c he knew the USA needed her 2 stay up with the Russians & Romanians.

overratted you mean

this gymnast is very underrated.
I never understood why with Bettys height, she didnt throw more twisting elements and this would have raised her start values and caused less injuries, for example throwing moves like Chorkinas routines, but She was totally underscored on all events in 1992

love how smooth that double turn was...everyone else has to try and make it go fast. hers was slow and elegant
