"Monsters" RP Music Video

Music video for the song "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance depicting characters from an RP that's been going on for almost a decade.

This video took way too long, employed over a dozen media sources and was entirely too much fun. Don't expect to understand what's going on unless you're me or my friends in said RP.

VIDEO PLOT SUMMARY:

Part One: Bella

Rabastan and Bellatrix escape from Azkaban with those other Death Eaters. Rab is a schizophrenic mass murdering lunatic with the mind of a child. Bella has a loveless marriage to Rab's brother Rodolphus and a domestic streak. She takes care of Rab and the tension between them is delightfully almost incestous. However, despite their forbidden love, Rab is tempted by the fruit of another: Heather, a muggle from America who encounters Rab and Bella on a terrorist jaunt in the Washington, D.C. area. Heather is patrolling as the superhero Batgirl when Rab kidnaps her and her partner (Raven, hero name White Knight, sadly not shown in this video due to lack of footage), Rab and Heather make sweet sweet love, and when the girls are rescued, Heather takes Rabastan with her. Bella is not pleased to be left all by her lonesome. TRAGEDY!!

Part Two: Heather

Heather checks Rabastan into Arkham for psychiatric evaluation. While studying his case, she falls in love with him and finds her own precarious sanity wavering. Heather's adopted father, Fox Mulder, and Heather's childhood bff, Tim Wayne (also the superhero Robin, also Raven's husband) try desperately to save her before it is too late... but it is so too late. Heather and Rab go crazy together and Rab knocks her up. They get married in Arkham and give birth to a baby girl named Astrid just in time for Rab to paralyze Tim during their subsequent breakout.

Part Three: Astrid

FAST FORWARD FIFTEEN YEARS. Astrid has been raised in the care of her grandfather, Mulder, and extended family, having a normal childhood except for the part where she's batshit insane like her father. Her bffs are Jan Wayne, Tim and Raven's daughter, and classmate Jacob Bell. In the Batman realm, Lukas Wayne, Jan's older bro, has taken over the cowl and Jan is the first female Robin. After years together in Arkham, the Lestrange parents have improved greatly. Heather has been released and lives a semi-normal life, but Rabastan, due to his sociopathic tendencies, remains firmly locked away. Pete Wentz has risen to a ridiculous level of power and is the mayor of Gotham, bent on total world domination. The Joker, having been dead for years, mysteriously reappears looking young and hot. Wentz makes a deal with Joker to basically rule the world together in chaos. Astrid will do anything to get her father out of Arkham, and makes a the proverbial deal with the Devil (read: Joker) to accomplish this. She's steps away from rollerskating right off the deepend herself in the pandemonium that follows: Joker on the loose, the whole Wayne family outed as vigilantes and arrested, explosions, threats on the lives of everyone you love, etc etc. Will Jacob rise to the occasion and save the day? Will everything be lost forever? Can the Wentz even be killed? (ARE YOU EVEN STILL FOLLOWING THIS? I'M SORRY WE'RE ON SO MUCH CRACK.) We don't know either, we haven't played out the story arc yet! All Rabastan wants is to be with his family... he didn't mean to cause so much heartache and pain... it just always seems to follow him where ever he goes.

LOL I have a curiousity weakness, warnings can't stop me! (usually.. hehe) It came up in my [ drake josh ] tag sub ;P (I don't kno why I keep getting just Drake vids, go figure! it seems to think [ drake josh ] includes [ drake bell ] stuff as well, lmao) I'm familiar with the basic concept of RP vidding in general tho, since a friend of mine does them, but yea.. @.@ and you're welcome! ;DD

it's all right, i'm a sucker for curiosity when people do rp stuff too. i did put a plot summary in the description since i seem to be getting a lot more views than i'd thought. ^_^ sorry there's no josh for you, but we don't have a character for him, haha. when i was looking for sources i had to rely on the movies drake's doing alone; i could barely find anything drake & josh related. thanks again for watching (and commenting)!

I love how everyone's going to be like "Wtf..." and we're all like "OMG ITS SO PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!" Because that's exactly what I'm like right now. Rabastan says he's going to be a famous rock star and sing this song all the time, I told him that he needs to get the rights from Matchbook Romance, but he says he'll just off 'em.
