Excellent reference to Mamoru Oishii's Kerberos Saga with those three dogs of the opening scene: Cerberus is the three-headed dog that guards the gates of Hades.

as a diehard Rumics fan, this gap of series is undoubtedly the toughest part to watch being 9/10 TV Originals meaning no reference to Rumico-senseis storyline..& dont think any English American person can quite understand what being an anime fan back in 1984 was like.. it would be like a Japanese person today being critical about a Star Wars fan. simply split into 2 dimensions of course, being someone who loves reading Comics & someone whos never read a book in their lives watching TV all day.
