Detects ionizing radiation using a LMP7721 amplifier chip, and a tin can. Testing it with old radioactive watch. The watch is wrapped in plastic to minimize risk of accidentally breaking it's glass (the radioactive paint turned into dust inside the watch; such dust is very dangerous to inhale. Never open old radium watches).

The detector works by measuring resistance of air in the can.
