oh, no. now im addicted to this series. now I've got Warriors, Guardians of Ga'hoole, Wolves of the Beyond, and Ratha's Creature to read. im going to be very buisy. ^^

I see... I read the book first and I know that if you don't want to be dissapointed by a film you mustn't read the book first... it happens every time!

I guess it's a tribute to the book that people would come here thinking the TV special didn't live up to it, but you have to remember that for many of us that're my age, the special came first and introduced us to the book... So I like both.

*Has no praise for this video, but no way to insult either.* It's alright. I love the book, at least. Clare Belle is amazing. ;3 I would love if they did the movie with real cheetahs. A movie of it, (Not meaning this, this is a cartoon) would be great. I'd buy. :3

Thanks, and I'm glad you've enjoyed the books. I actually thought the video wasn't too bad, and it does help introduce people to the series.
I would also love to see someone do a movie.
Did you see my attempt at 3-D animation. It's rough, but it's interesting.

When they compressed the storyline in order to fit it in the 22 minute format, they lost Bonechewer.
That often happens in movie/TV/cartoon adaptations.

I'm glad you enjoyed the books and the video.
It came from a courtesy copy sent to me back in the mid-1980s. By the way, there is a new book in the series, Ratha's Courage, which will be coming out this Spring as an E-book and a print book. Amazon and other sites are listing it.
About Shongshar - it is possible that someone in Southern Star read Clan Ground, and designed the UnNamed to look like that. Clan came out in 1984 and the video wasn't broadcast until 1987 or 88.
