Yet an other nice share from you, Mr. Mike. Thank you for it. The chorus sounds a lot like that of a 1971 promo single from Bowie called "Bombers" which didn't chart.

Released in the UK in 1971, Known as Silver Bullit band not Bullit as in the US

You can find this track on the CD - Super Hits of the 70's - Have A Nice Day - Volume 7 by Rhino Records. You might try looking for it on E-Bay.

I've been playing guitar for 45 years and I often wander around the parks in my area singing and playing my guitar just for fun. I meet a lot of people that way, and yesterday I met a guy named Walter who heard me and struck up a conversation. It turns out he plays too, and he said he used to be in a one hit wonder group called Bullet, and the hit was White Lies, Blue Eyes. That's why I seached it and how I found this video. He wants to jam with me and gave me his card. I think I'll call him up.

I have this 45 of Bullet and many others from the early 70's. I found this site by goggling the song titles and band names and viola! I can hear these great songs from my childhood without a record player! Thanks for the memories!

I am a collector of music of the 70's.This may sound old fashion, but does anyone know the name of & where I can buy a CD with this fantastic song on it? I appreciate any help.
And thank you Mike for contributing to one of the greatest eras in music.

I just found your site by total accident. What a treasure this is! Songs I haven't heard in years and years. I enjoy your intros also. I had this 45 by Bullet. I can see I'll be spending hours here!

I played this tune many times when I dee-jayed at the "Tip-A-Few" in Eastwood, Upstate New York.

I was the trumpet player, pianist and background vocalist for Bullet from 1972-1974. Ernie Sorrentino was the lead singer, Mike Micara was the drummer, George Ruiz was the bass player, Joey Stann was the organist and sax player. Today, we are all still in music. Joey plays with South Side Johnny. Ernie and Mike still play today. George Ruiz has passed away. I am the founding director of Popular Music at Palm Beach Atlantic University. My name is Roget Pontbriand. I was 17 when i joined Bullet.

@777Trumpetman --- Roget, thanks very much for this excellent information. We appreciate all your creative musical contributions through the years. I understand that you also played with Wild Cherry, KC & The Sunshine Band and Cleveland, Ohio's Michael Stanley Band, too!

Hi Mike, I just happen to know who these guys are. They are originally from Brooklyn, NY. I am very close friends with one of the band members. His name is Phil and he played the guitar solo in the break. These guys were about 19 years old when the song was released. They now have an album out entitled, "4 Ever Fab" under the band name "The Atomik Age Project"
