Did you know that "The Iron Giant" was based off the Ted Hughes Novel "The Iron Man"? I think it's quite befitting that the Giant said "I-AM-I-RON-MAN!"

It's funny... I just watched Iron Giant again today after not having seen it for years. And what struck me was how similar the sections with the planes are. I wonder if Mr Favreau had been watching Iron Giant when he sat down with his colleagues and storyboarded that section lol.
