  • One of my favorite albums ever. It sets an immeasurably high standard in it's playing and compositions. Moncur shows his talents as a composer and Khalil the prophet has some of the best quick tempo playing i've heard. Roy Haynes and Bobby Hutcherson's contributions are timeless as usual. Truly special music

  • this is so deep...

  • This is wonderful!

  • Sitting in a blue room with incense burning.....

  • This is the sound off jazzmen playing the blues,,,,,,,,, hypnotizing!

  • YES!!!

  • One can almost hate jazz but still love this song.

  • Like so many of Jackie McLean's tunes from this period, this is a pure masterpiece of mesmerism...pure Zen.

  • @jediknightrider And don't forget about Sonny Stitt!

  • Mclean's The Man! Still, no collection of altos is complete w/o Dolphy, Canonball and Bird. What say U?
