  • My sink/faucet is not attached to a water valve, therefore I might have to turn off the main system. However, that is not my concern. My concern is is that my faucet is attached to copper tubes, so if I were to replace/attached the pipes what do I need to fasten them together. I know that they have devices to attach coppper pipes to flexible ones like in your vid, No more welding involved. Can you please advise what washers, etc I need or point me to a vid? Thanks!!!!

  • @Doza418 You can get PEX tubing which is flexible and easy to use. In order to attach the copper to the PEX you need to look into Shark Bites at your local hardware store. The Shark Bites are easy to use and require no soldering or welding. Make sure to take the correct measurements and get the right size of PEX and Shark Bite connections.

  • A new upgraded bathroom will add considerable value to the looks and appeal of an older home. If the outcome looks really good and improves upon the original design...it will be much more desirable over similar homes in the same neighborhood that have no upgrades or, updates.

  • @KnowYourRealEstate We definitely agree! Thanks for watching!

  • very informative, thanks for posting!

  • Teflon tape on compression fittings? Why??

  • Great video and fairly thorough. I had plastic threads so I didn't put the tape on them (hoping that works) I read to put putty on the faucet gasket too and figured eh couldn't hurt. This is my first sink installation and your video has been an awesome help compared to the others. THANK YOU!

  • Excellent. I was getting ready to install my sink without the faucets, but the hint to do it first probably saved me an hour's worth of work! Also, appreciated the step by step instructions. My wife wanted the sinks for Christmas and she will be very grateful for the installation. BTW we will call servicemagic on future projects. Thanks!
