Whether we choose to think about it or not, we are going to arrive in the future.

in a state of grace where the truth of who we are

feels like a long-forgotten friend

and I wonder, if after the things that are real have fallen away,

what part of this experience of you and I will remain?

how will our hearts connect?

How will words express the mystery of everything

In our peaceful future

after we've stopped pretending there isn't enough,

after we've given up on tomorrow,

an entirely new language will emerge

Every communication will contain a single perfect message

ONLY LOVE IS REAL

Every word will be about love

Because we will know that there is nothing we can experience together that is not about love

there is nothing we can do or be that can separate us from the beautiful truth.

I want to just skip my story of searching

my longing for home,

and go right to a feeling in my heart

where, with tears of joy, I thank my soul family.

I'm going to spend time some as my future self

certain in every moment that the energy that created the stars--

is who I am

I take a 16 oz brewed coffee, I love you, and a blueberry muffin.

Yes, we'd like super Nachos, I love you, with guacamole on the side.

And everyone... within 10 feet,

remembers what it's all about.

I think we're ready for the truth

because from where we're going to be in the future,

I've learned there's a bigger truth

than the stories I call my life

I've learned that everything is alive

and celebrates this journey

until there is not a person or story that makes me forget

I don't make comments on youtube videos - until today. This is such an awesome video and I wanted to thank YOU for sharing this! It reminded me yesterday evening when I THOUGHT someone "cut in front of me" at the movie theatre...and I softly said (in a whisper to remind myself) "I Love You" instead of responding negatively.
