Alot of us may not remember, But the wrestler inductee, Dave Hickson, actually sponsored a Top Rank Boxing venue at Aumni Arena in 1989. Two of the Boxers were the great Riddick Bowe & world champion-Livingston Bramble. He was only 25 years old when he & Joe Orlando pulled off this unprecedented event. Dave Hickson also was starting linebacker on the UB football team his senior year. He only weighed 175 pounds. He has been a great friend of mine & has the heart of a Lion.
