  • That's the kind of thing we never like to see in hockey, no matter who the player is. Hopefully, he'll be okay. Journalists said he was speaking coherently and that he could now move his hands and feet. They're bringing him to the hospital as a precaution.

  • Gotta love the fucking idiots on here. Guy smashes headfirst into the boards and people are like he sucks so it's all good. People need to get lives if they got nothing better to do than slag someone who got hurt.

And if you look carefully, he lost his footing as his skate collided with the Minnesota player's skate. Just a freak accident. I for one hope he's OK and has a full recovery. Good to hear he can move his arms and legs. Sounds like he got a stinger.

  • best 3rd line center in the league

  • he's my captain in my fantasy hockey team for eastside hockey.... hope he's okay >_>

  • people stumble like that all the time if your skate isn't just perfect that crap can happen constantly it may not have even been his fault maybe his blade wasnt sharpened properly or there was a crack in the ice. I had the honor of meeting him in real life he came in to blockbuster just to say hi and take a picture with me after he finished training. He's a really down to earth nice guy

  • What a classy comment board. Must take a lot of intelligence to make fun of a player who could have suffered serious consequences. For those of us who are ACTUALLY educated we like to call this "losing an edge," rather than a lack of skating ability. This kid made the jump to the NHL at 18 years old. For the classless cowards here, remind me again what league you play in? Oh that's right, your making fun of a head and neck injury on YouTube, you don't even have a life.

  • skate much??

  • LOL the kid with the corn dog X)

  • He needs to learn how to SKATE and STOP.

  • @SaRa2691 But this is exactly what is encouraged by the idiot in the flashy suits. I don't know his name but I have heard him speaking about players not aggressive enough.

These injuries will continue until such time as a decent set of rules with players who come out to play and not fight.

This is not our sport, Canadians are becoming an embarrassment with our antics.

  • i love how this guy gets hurt when i start going out with my ex girlfriend then 2 days ago i get hurt and he plays.
