I'm from the Uk and I'm tired of people going about 'what it means to be [insert any nationality]' People here say they are 'proud to be British,' as if it means something, I don't think it does at all, I think people are individuals and that nationality and patriotism is just an excuse for exclusion and that it means you have pride in something with no substance.
