Here's the first scene from one of the most successful comedies of 1930. The Life Of The Party. Originally shot entirely in color. In this scene the songpluggers Dot and Flo lose their jobs after a frenchman having trashed the shop.

  • I wish this movie was on DVD and it would be nice if they could colorize it cause this movie was shot originally in full color but they lost the color film

  • Many of the sheet music covers on the wall are from Winnie Lightner's previous films, such as "Hold Everything."

  • What a fascinating clip,all those lovely 1930 song sheets!

  • I remember when 5 & 10 cent stores had music counters in the l950's tho.....
