canada raised their rates 3 times. I remember reading a news article that to paraphrase went something as follows.
"the banks have raised their rates 3 times in the last year and are not changing their rates, housing prices have fallen 3% this year and may fall as much as 15% over the next 5 years. If you are looking to buy your first house in the next few years, we suggest to rent. If you are upside down from house flipping TOO BAD
I have a $12-15 phone, have had it for 2 years, and its still ticking. Considering the number of times I've dropped it on pavement, its kinda remarkable actually
But more to the point, that guy, the 4 replacements in 6-months guy, did you take care of him? Get him his new phones for free, and in a timely manor? Or have temp phones so that he had something to use? And, by the end, a different model of phone that doesn't break that often?
@LordVigeous666999 this is normal for the industry, for the customers to get fucked over. totally normal, not right, but totally normal be it verizon, at&t, sprint, etc.
Unless the user is blatantly using it in a way it is not meant to be used, like, using a phone to flip hamburgers, or using it to drive nails into wood
You don't get a choice. Unless some unscrupulous businessman such as yourself, plays upon the ignorance of your clients, and trys to make them think they aren't covered
Well, as someone in the industry, you're fucking over your clients
And I mean that. I'm not sure if this is state by state, or federal, or both
But any product sold, has to have at least a 6-12 month full warranty. By law. This is contract law, you gave them a product, it is assumed it will work for a "reasonable" amount of time. Which is generally adjudicated to be 6 to 12 months
@LordVigeous666999 That is not how the system works. Many warranties have exceptions and many parts last no longer than 6 months to 1 year, so people get replacement phones VERY OFTEN. I work in this business, I know how often people have damage not covered by any warranty or replacement handsets. I remember one customer getting 4 replacement phones in 6 months. Shameful.
I brought up the price system, because it allocates resources where SOCIETY has decided they are the most valuable, and most needed
So if it becomes necessary to pull water out of the air to get water, even though its "expensive", its what society has chosen, via the price system. Which is a weird word to use, expensive. Relative to what? Dying of thirst?
nice clip .. i like it .. thanks for sahring

Or did you just let him hang?

And I would give even more to charity, if the Gov wasn't taking over 67% of my pay check
median Fed income: 35%. Social Security: 7% Medicare: 15% State income 0-10% = 57-67%
And this is just 4 taxes, how much money do you need to take before its enough? 70%? 80%? 90% 100% How much?

Free market always lets people die of starvation and thirst? Where do you find these people, cause I don't see any of them around
There are people that pan handle, and make more money then the average american, there is plenty of charity, and no one is going to go hungry
