Do you have a vintage Ludwig 402? It would be nice if you could make a sound sample of one. There is no really good quality sound sample of one on YouTube.
I really like your drums and videos. I hope you can help me.

All 3 are beautiful, versatile, snares! What hi-hats were used here also? Sound like New Beats.

@J0B0S0 Nah Man! Have faith... look out for Acrolites you CAN find NICE sounding ones cheaply.

Good playing dude. And I love that snare. But I prefer it in the 5 in. . Either one is wonderful..

From your website, I see you have a GLX kit. That was the kit I drooled over when I was a kid.

wow, great snare drums!!

Love the Acrolite! What is it about those cheap aluminum snares that sound so good? I might kill the ring a bit in the studio or a quiet situation. But with other musicians in the background, just let it sing.
The Paiste equivalent: Formula 602 Mediums. Thanks for watching

Is it just the tuning, or do all acrolites have that PING sound? To my ears the second two didn't have that out of control PING after the attack...

@prehistoricpain Well yes they do. But It's controllable with a little damping - like a moongel. Still a great drum to play. Thanks for posting
