Basic Donkey Kong 64 Glitches: Part 3

This is the third of a three part introduction to Donkey Kong 64 glitching. The first two videos are based off of glitches I did in a quick playthrough, while the last contains other potentially useful tricks. This goal of this series is to prepare those new at DK64 for runs and races, although non-glitch speedtricks (getting hit by Army Dillo as he rolls, etc) will not be mentioned.


Make sure annotations are on, as this video is heavily annotated.

This part shows difficult or situational glitches, that are only useful in special circumstances or are so tricky that they are not recommended for races. The Moontail does not fall into either of these categories, but it wasn't discovered when I made the other two parts.

Is this on an emulator or wii consle, cause im having trouble doing the boss with different character glitch on my n64 version

@Keyblademaster65 It is on N64. Emulator DK64 runs very poorly and as far as I know there is no version for wii.

What the hell? The moontail trick isn't working for me any more. I used to be able to pull it off fairly easily, but now it's now I just perform the normal double jump. I still have at least one crystal coconut. How are you able to execute it consistently?
