  • @BeantownJim What you say is correct except for everything that chomsky said is accurate and he's an anarchist not a communist and....

Wait, wtf am I doing arguing with a guy called "BeantownJim", 1. what are the odds that he has anything to say that isn't idiotic and 2. seriously dude, "Communist", what 1950s backwater did you crawl out of?

I think I'll leave this by saying that reality has a leftist bias so the best way to denounce it is to call it "Communist" and give no evidence.

  • @aivilik First off, you clearly don't know jack shit about real communism, just the idea you were fed in this country. Most examples of communism in this world are far from the ideals set forth by Marx, Russia for example was more "bolschevism" as it was called and China and Russia today are just as capitalist as the US. Meanwhile, you have an idea of capitalism as a free market and/or a meritocracy where each gets what they earn, but that idea is false and has been demonstrated to be so. READ.

  • @ML4wr3nc3 "communism" itself in Marxist theory is only a term applicable when every worker in the world has united and overthrown the ruling elite. So, even in Marx's terms, communism never exsited on this planet. But your basic premise is accurate, the slander on communism in this country has been successful to a large extent, people are scared of socialism and have no clue what it is, but think otherwise, which is even more dangerous.

  • @aivilik Communism works on paper, not on people. Communism cannot exist in the real world.

  • @ML4wr3nc3 Communism only works on paper, never on people. Real communism is fantasy and cannot work in the real world.

  • @anaselhaouat Actually it was 64%. BTW, how is your "messiah" Obama been doing?

  • @bdjoh011 first, your info is wrong about his approval rate. according to the gallup polls, he averaged about 52 percent which is normal compared to his peers, and he certainly didn't leave with a 65%. second, Chomsky was talking about the relevance and popularity of Reagan's policies between today and his time. And today, people talk about Reagan's policies more than his time, quite disproportionately actually. Do you hear us talking about Johnson's Vietnam policies today?

  • @Phatnaru0001 Chomsky is a total nutjob. He is a senile old fool. Historical fact does not match up with most of what he has said here.

  • @zoso820 Ummm...those aren't exactly socialist countries. Communism has never worked anywhere.

  • @gnarlyb Umm no. Historical fact does not agree with you.

  • Reagan left office with an approval rating of 65%. That is one of the many things he has gotten wrong about him. What an old nutt he is.

  • @dalecampbl6 I hate Democrats....lazy idiots.
