I think this is a misunderstanding..
I'm not talking about "on the circuit"
I'm just telling, if you run your engine hot like in the video,
it's better just to poke the throttle, and let the rpm's go down again by itself,
instead of forcing them to go down with braking.
I hope you understand me? I'm sorry but English isn't my first language..
Ofc, you have to use your brakes on the circuit, hahaha!
And I have been karting for several years now, so not really inexperienced

@3Klaas You retarded or what, by the looks of your comment you are an inexperienced karter lol.
During a corner you brake turn rear will lifts aiding the turning in proccess.... coasting just keeps your kart flat + increases the time your off the throttle.
Braking will be shorter and also quicker than coasting to the apex. Reducing your lap times.

If I could give you some advice, I'm a karter too.
The worst thing to to for the clutch for running the engine hot is braking.
Just pull the gas lik you did, but don't brake.
The clutch really doesn't like that !
Just some advice ;)
Btw, very nice kart you got there!

NICE ONE LADS!!! GO THE TONY KART WITH THE BIG GIRL X30
Should you really be doing that before the engine is broken in?

@thedjstig Would be lucky if it's reaching 6000 rpm. During breaking in on the track it'll be doing more work than that!
