SF City Watch - Tony D Production - Sponsored by Dean Clark
Come one and Come all to show your support for the San Francisco Taxi Drivers! Rally!
Monday March 21st , 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
San Francisco Taxi Drivers feel they have no support from city officials and are only looked at as a revenue generator for the SFMTA.
Currently Taxi Drivers have no health insurance, no retirement.
Some companies currently do not carry car insurance for their drivers, and do not have uninsured motorist coverage.
In addition there is no current legislation regarding having air bags in San Francisco Taxi Cabs. This is a concern for everyone who rides or drives a cab in San Francisco.
Come show your support, we will rally at 1:00 p.m. on this
Monday March 21st
at the Polk street side of city hall.
Bring Signs!
Suggestions for the signs:
No Health care
No Uninsured Motorist
No car insurance for the drivers
No air Bags
what happened to safety checks!
Or anything else you can think of creating to express your concerns about treatment towards San Francisco Taxi Drivers.
Rain or Shine! Show up! And tell your friends to Come!
