Serafin's Attempt of Michelle Kwans Layback Spin

In another attempt of a variation of a layback spin where I try to copy Michelle Kwan's what I called "The Mercy Layback Spin". What do you guys think? Especially for a male skater doing a layback?

I am too good at laybacks, yet I never heard of this spin. It look really good when you do it!

I am better at it now as I can hold my laybacks an other spins longer than when this video was uploaded. I am working on uploading some more newer recent vids in the future. keep an eye out!

Viktor Petrenko had an AWESOME layback spin, and I believe there are others who are totally capable as well, like Takahashi. It's a difficult spin, men should try it more often, along with spiral positions.

thanks! I am working on my spirals. Shawn Sawyers are so far the best in mens! I don't think I'll be that good but who knows, I'll try and see where it leads me.

Wow. You *did* do MK's layback version. Overused word, but awesome. Men need to do things like this more often. With NJS, the spins are all boring now with 18 different position changes and not much fun to watch for the most part. Great job on this, just great, loving it.

Thanks a lot! I'm working on some new spins as well but for now sticking with the classics. Bielmann and Lucinda Ruh spins are my next attempts.

I never got why guys don't do laybacks... maybe because they're usually not flexible (obviously an exception here!)

that was really good, especially for a man doing it! that's better than a lot of the female skater's laybacks!
