The dragonflies of Tepearası

Following the old road from Dalyan to the Ortaca - Muğla main road, you pass Tepearası, where people often picknick among the amber woods. Unfortunately part of the plot is littered with picknick waste, but if you walk a little bit further than most picknickers do you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the brooks and the many dragonflies. We were amazed by the enormous quantities in which they occurred there. Upon entering the site in May, our attention was immediately drawn by the squeaking sound of a young tit which had fallen from its nest and was heavily protesting against the fact that mum and dad failed to bring additional fodder.
