AJ Perez had perished in an accient in Moncada, Tarlac

Young actor and hearttrob AJ Perez killed in an accident along McArthur Highway, Moncada, Tarlac. There are going back to Manila after a show in Dagupan. The van overtaked a ten-wheeler truck, but they slammed onto a Partas bus.

Bus driver Julie Brillantes were sent to custody and charged him with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, multiple physical injuries and damaged to property. Eventually he had been bribed because he found innocent.

Van driver Christopher Bautista also accused of homicide.

On April 26, 2011, Perez had been buried in Manila Memorial Park.

AJ Perez was the second youngest celebrity in the Philippines to died. (Firstly to Julie Vega who died at the age of 16, due to cardiac arrest)

In fairness to GMA they have full reporting on ABS-CBN Talent's AJ Perez death a proof na wala silang kinikilingan at piniprotektahan, serbisyong totoo lamang, so that the Kapuso will also know what's happneing from the other side (network).
