His translation has errors in it. He asked me to point them out, and I did so in a private message with detailed explanations, and then he deleted our conversation in the comments about the issue and refused to correct his mistakes.

the boy who came from prison escaped to be with his lover, the police are looking for him but he can't live without his lover so him and his girl go running away and spend as much time together as possible and then the cops find them and start chasing them and the boy kills the girl and himself so they can rest in peace together... sad story, i like it. nice.

I think he is singing about how he couldn't be with someone because even if they don't think they are changing everybody changes and they grew apart. The only way they could be together is if they were to die, because that would stop them from changing... however, that isn't exactly feasible.

Kinoshita's lyrics are strange and sometimes unfinished or "too" adult, thus they don't have many Japanese fans.
The lyrics are correct, aside from some minor errors, but the meaning is still the same.

My guess is that the cops weren't really cops, they just kind of represented everything that pulled the couple apart and decided who and what they could see. So they decided there was only one way to be together; by getting out of this world.
That is only my interpretation of it.
