Celebrating the opening of the Port Union Waterfront Trail June 2008. The trail now reaches from Port Union along the bluffs waterfront, across Highland Creek, to West Hill's East Points Park.

Yes Darren it is quite a wealthy area with many of Toronto's newest homes. The work that has been done on this section of the trail is impressive.

One of the poshest toniest areas in Toronto by far! Over 30% of residents have university degrees & avg family income surpasses $100,000/yr

Unlike the durham region which is highly blue collar and low in university level attainment (Pickering at 18%, Ajax at 12%, Whitby 10%, Oshawa 4%) , the area of Port Union/Rouge Hill has a university attainment level of 32%!!

At the country club I attend, you should see the number of vice presidents, CFOs, corporate lawyers & cardiovascular surgeons who reside in "Port Union"!!

I am seriously considering selling up from the Kingsway (where I currently live) and moving in!  GM.
