  • Wilt Chamberlain would obliterate any center today

  • Best story of Wilt on YouTube.

Bill Simmons is full of sh*t. Losing championships only shows that no player, no matter how great, can carry a bad team. Wilt was the most dominant player in NBA history, and he couldn't do it. Basketball can't be won by one player.

If anything, Wilt was beaten by Red Auerbach, who put the Celtics teams together. Jordan's record is thanks to Phil Jackson, Scottie Pippen and the other supporting players. When Wilt had a good supporting cast, he won.

  • Wow 13 years after retiring the Nets offered him 360 k for the remaining games of the season...that shows true respect of his game.

  • The best quote in this documentary was "Wilt was in love with his stats"

  • @arther1045 Enjoy your life bro

  • @arther1045 Hater:

A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person

A person that develops a strong dislike for another, solely basing their own opinion on personal judgment rather than objective merit. The formation of a hater's contempt commonly arises from jealously and/or resentment

A being who speaks badly,and/or takes negative actions in attempt to create problems for a successful person.

  • @dantheman9758 you are an idiot. of course his goal was to play 48 minutes a game. Proof of that, he stayed in games when his team was losing or winning by 30. DUH. Everyone who played at the time talkked about Wilt backing away when he would get 5 fouls. It was a joke. You Wilt nuthuggers are ridiculous.

  • @arther1045 Aren't you a little old be force fed that badguy media spin? That's cliche "goliath" Boston Globe farce. Go read some books and watch some archive interviews. The reality of Wilt was not at all close to a selfish stat mongering oaf. He was often desperate to win big and psychologically crushed when he lost, as any deep seeded competitor would be. Never once, ANYWHERE has he ever indicated he "wanted" to get 48mpg and not foul out. All he wanted to do was win. Research it you fool.

  • @dantheman9758 he earned thoses records because he set a goal to play 48 minutes a game and never foul out of a game. simple as that. russell or any other star could have done the same thing..they wouldn't because it has nothing to do with winning and losing. wilt was way into individual goals.

  • @arther1045 /watch?v=zaXHYlPECcc hmm wth? #1 and #2 scoring options Jerry West and Baylor DNP? West announcing and Baylor sittin at home in LA. Wilt's only 4th scoring option at this point and he's all alone. You think Rodman should win chips 96-98 if Jordan and Pippen DNP? Similar injuries of Wilt's surrounding cast plagued him in 1968, and he himself was injured in '70. Team injuries greatly killed his success between 65-73 - just because a roster looks good on paper doesn't mean a damn thing.

  • @arther1045 You can't be playing for coaches and have teammates and just set that shit as an individual goal and expect everyone else around you to concede. Have you even played competitive basketball!? He earned that record because he proved unanimously to everyone everywhere that he was that incredibly dependable and talented. Of thousands of NBA and NCAA players nobody else has ever been so profoundly capable. It's corny to hate on someones success like that. It's an obvious achievement.

  • @boxingfan510 i hate it when they bring uo lame things like the fact that he played over 48 minutes a game or he never fouled out of a game like these are positive things. anyone could do that if they set it as a goal..problem is they are both negatives for a team.
