@CFProject153 ya see but the pkm is in 7.62x54R thats like svd rounds or mosin nagant full auto.. or in other terms everything that fires that round, such as the DP-28

and they probably started in 44 just had it out a few years later. same as the ak47 the first was called AK-N.1

the second AK-46 then AK-47 and etc.. now its 74m, 101,102,103, till 108

@AKseries1 i was just reading a magazine about guns:it was talking about the RPD it said it was designed in 1944 so im geussing that its an older model i could be wrong though but yeah i would choose PKM and the RPD was the Soviets first belt fed machinegun designed to fire in 7.62x39mm
