@DiabolusIgnis i know that fag

@temmy9 I can double this, since I've trained according to Fiore's manuscript under the guidance of Guy Windsor who has done it for years and knows his stuff. I might add, he's said to win these duels without a single scratch on himself.

@dannman4209 Anyone who knows their fencing, I suppose. You're not an idiot for being ignorant, you're an idiot for acting like you know something you don't.

who grabs a fucking sword gay video next...
-
@grewntd Have fun having your swords get in the way of each other.

looks nothing like the movies, but seems just as intense.

1:20. If you don't want to fight, just hug them ^w^
I was wondering, which sources do you follow? This looks like something German, but not quite to my eye. Thank you!

@DiabolusIgnis You are not entirely mistaken: Theresa follows the Italian line à la Fiore, whereas the Hammaborgers are on the German track.

right. cause you would really be able to grab your opponents sword in battle. theyre techniques are loose and impracticable and foundations are weak.

@bigpeteswackshack As you say. Thank you very much for this valuable input. Since it is in contradiction to the historical sources we reconstruct, I might feel inclined not to be bothered too much. Thanks for the comment anyway.

What kind of armor or guarders do they use not to get hurt

@Respecthebrotherhood At Hammaborg, we use modern equipment such as fencing master masks and vests, lacrosse gloves, hockey girdley. Also a neck protection and other stuff if required. Our guest from Chicago has a somewhat different gear, a padded gambeson, leather protoction and a custom made helmet.
