Of course Manowar cannot be compared to PTH... and by reading your comment, I feel like we pretty much agree on music... But still, manowar sucked at Hellfest, for real ! I love Manowar, I mean, they're pretty cool and play good music but their preformence was way under expectation

I will give credit where credit is deserved, they are good musicians. (Though I am not keen on the singer's voice) If I deny them that then that will make me the idiot.
However, comparing them to Manowar I think is unwise. Manowar is not about tech "wanky" riffs and time changes,they are about straight out heavy metal and about uniting the fans.
If you want to compare PTH with anyone try Atheist, they were doing tech metal back in the 80's and still kick the shit out of PTH in my opinion.

seriously, PTH are like 25y old and already much better musician than Manowar... like it or not, you can't deny that.
Manowar @ Hellfest had the worst sound of the whole festival... even brutal stuff under the shity tents had a better sound.
