To Bigturd- The Bush/Cheney war in Iraq has been costing us $10 Billion dollars a month. It's done what it was set up to do. Line the pockets of the Bush/Cheney Families. Halliburton(Cheney's baby) and the Carlisle Group (Bush' baby). Halliburton Oil Interests, Carlisle Group, Weapons sales . To anyone with the money to pay for them. The 800 "earmarks" on the Stimulas Package included all the Republican earmarks the Republicans put in there for themselves. Knowing the bill would pass anyway.

The GOP tried to set standards to where people wouldn't get into the mess they did! The "regulations" of Freddie & Fannie would have set better standards for people to meet for loan approvals! To Bigturd- You need correcting on the Republicans trying 17 times to "REGULATE" Fannie & Freddie. The word should read "DEREGULATE". So... the Community Reinvestment Act continued & more of the regulations were dropped to where so many were borrowing 100% of the house value but their income was proven below requirements & unsustainable!

Barney Frank knew this was to crash and did NOTHING about it..!
