Fake glasses; I have my reasons...

Yes, these glasses are non-prescription. I have a perscription but I can function relatively well without them.

hmm... I used the word "trendy" way too much in this. I know I am not.

Asian guys with glasses looks soo attractive! ..in my opinion. xDD

Like whenever I'm walking in the subway, school or mall.. when I see an Asian guy wearing those think, black glasses, my brain gets alerted and have this radar thing going on. Hahaha.. Sorry.. I know I may sound stupid. But anyways, I know it's like an insult to those that HAVE to wear glasses, but I honestly think they're cool. They're pretty harmless in my eyes. ;D

@sabi123ist I got mine from the men's section in a store called Le Chateaux. But you can get them pretty much any where now. Accessory stores like Claires and in the accessory section of most clothin stores too :)

I personally love fake glasses. No, it's not because I am taking my good eyesight for granted or any of that B.S...it's because I like the way I look and as long as I'm not annoyed by them and they aren't damaging eyesight, what's the problem?

Mindless fucking cows you all follow trends. Some celebs start wearing them, now everyone wants to fucking wear them. Back in the 80's people used to get beat up and made fun of for wearing those big frame glasses, now they're fucking popular? gimme a break. "OMG look! lil wayne is wearing them, so is lady gaga OMG! i gotta go buy some now to be cool" sound familar?

idk I do have to wear glasses but I don't really care if someone is wearing fake glasses but the ones with no lenses are strange to me but the thing that I must admit annoys me is when people wear those 3d glasses with no lenses. I mean I can understand if they are like 12 but I'm in college and when this guy would constantly wear them at my school I literally wanted to throw up lol

Of course, if they're the same who wear fake glasses (it happens sometimes), it can be irritating, but I don't think it's intelligent to blame everyone because of an idiot. Thanks to all the fake glasses wearer, I've learned to love mine. As long as they have lenses in, it's cool.

@PrincezzCool I guess they feel bad because people used to laugh at them (and perhaps still do) or their glasses remind them that they can't see properly. I've even been accused of "faking" once because I need a minor correction. In any cases, it's an irrational response to their own insecurity. I know it's annoying to see badly, but glasses are here to help us and I'm glad they become fashionable because we seem more normal. There will always be people to laugh at glasses wearer.

@PrincezzCool SUnglasses are actually useful to protect everyone's eyes. Non prescription glasses do nothing. While I am not against them, your comparison is wrong.

I have heard of many young women who wear these because when they first graduate from college, they are at a distinct disadvantage from young men the same age when they are interviewing for jobs in business, etc. I have seen many women whose opinions are disregarded because they look so young and are assumed to be "ditsy." I think if something like glasses can help to "level the playing field" a bit for some young women who are (even unwittingly) discriminated against, why not wear them?
