  • @210482fmj I agree, I cook professionally and wear a welders outfit. Leather jacket, hood and heavy duty gloves. I also smear a special fire-resistant cream all over myself just incase something hot goes down my jacket. And when I am gonna deep-fry something I also put on a firemans coat and boots. Also I wear a painters filtered mask, I change the filters regularly. All this stuff makes for a very good feeling of safety, and healthy work environment.  Can't be too careful you know........

  • Good chefs don't need to put extra MSG into the food. Flavor is from the high heat cooking, or "wok hei," and the proper ingredients and flavorings.

  • Holy crap, that looks tough having to stand in front of that steamy wok all day long.
