  • love the little ears sticking up in the screen. Ive seen videos of it happening before. Seems like alot of fun though i dont think the cows like it that much.

  • Team sorting is a BLAST to do!

Cows are pretty smart and it doesn't take long for them to learn the game. We actually don't work the cattle very hard they are fairly fragile creatures, it's more like a game of chase the tails and cattle figure it out pretty quickly. In the sorting game all cows have to do is cross the line and stay on the other side. Once they figure that out they're pretty happy to cooperate. Probably the easiest job cattle will ever do.

    Fun, fun, FUN! :~)

  • Well i guess for the younger ones the first few times are rather scary with everything going on. But once they figure out after a few times that when they get behind that line and stay there everyone leaves them alone and afterwards they get to go home. So i guess you got a point there yes.

  • It's scary for the horses too, learning about cattle, that is unless they were raised in the fields with cattle.

Horses can be bred for 'cow' but they don't know it. Takes a little time for the horses to learn that cows won't eat them and they can actually move cows around. LOL!

My big mare loves/hates cows. Little creatures she can push around that won't fight back. She's a funny girl in a herd of cattle, pins her ears and gets AFTER them.

    Hehehe!

Cows know when they have horns too. LOL!

  • hey julie..I'm going sorting next monday...my first time...I was looking up sorting vids and there you were.lol...I had forgot you had one on it...looks like fun...what's the white line for?

  • The idea is you sort the cattle to the other side of the line Bill.

They got to stay on the other side too. As your sorting you gotta be smart they don't double back on you to get back to the herd you haven't sorted yet.

If one comes back across the line, or one goes over the line out of number sequence your game is DONE, NO TIME!

    As you ride out they call a number say '4' so you sort #4 first then 5 6 7... they are #'d 0-9. So '8' would go 8 9 0 1 2 and so on. You'll have a BLAST!
