  • @Kaza0kun fuck u that`s all i can say

  • ARE YOU KDDING ME 30SECONDS WHAT A bunch of bs!!!!

  • It IS considered to be hate. And people SHOULDN'T do that. But this bill should not be passed because it is taking free speech away from us. We shouldn't be punished for opinions. Actions, yes. Opinions and words, no.

  • Democrat Rep Jane Harman also sponsored HR 1547 banning incandescent light bulbs and which forces Americans to use mercury-filled, bulbs which require special means to dispose due to potential breaking and leakage of mercury into the home or land.

    "To prohibit the sale of certain inefficient light bulbs, and require the development of a plan for increasing the use of more efficient light bulbs by consumers and businesses."

    (The legislation was passed if I'm not mistaken-will confirm).

  • Hate crime bill not to be confused with (H.R.1959) The Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 nor it's related bill H.R.1955:

    It hasn't yet passed. Sponsored by Democrat Rep Jane Harman. List of Co-sponsors of

    Rep Turner, Michael R. [OH] 7/29/08;

    James Moran[VA] 9/16/08...Sam Farr[CA] 9/16/08...Dan Burton [IN]9/16/08

    Lynn Woolsey [CA]9/16/08...Janice Schakowsky [IL]9/16/08...Todd Platts[PA] 9/16/08..James McGovern [MA]9/16/08..John Tierney[MA]9/18/08

    Roscoe Bartlett[MD]9/18/08

  • Hate crime statutes don't only apply to murder; 'hate crime' is an identifier of a specific type of malicious motivation which should be taken in to account in prosecution. Murder committed under the umbrella of 'hate crime' is a specific form of criminal act; this is not the kind of violent death which occurs because a person is involved in a rival street gang or because of an extramarital affair. This is about people being killed for the simple fact of being themselves.

  • GWEN Araujo, NOT Eddie.

    And Yes it is, and should be considered a hate crime, I'm not sure of the other people you speak of, but if their's was a similar situation, then their's should be considered a hate crime too.

    In SOOOO MANY states in the US, Crimes against Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgender people, STILL isn't considerd to be hate, and it is shameful.

    Hopefully one day, it will be.

  • So the murder of Eddie Araujo is somehow a hate crime. Why not the murders of Jeffrey Curley or Jesse Dirkhising?

  • Isn't this same Barbara Lee who opposed anti-terrorism legislation just three days after 9/11?

  • Congressman is short for Congressmanager. So its good to know she is a women.
