The reason no president other than Obama has gone to P.R. in 50 years is because P.R. born citizens (who are U.S. citizens) living in P.R., as well as U.S. born citizens living in P.R., cannot vote in U.S. national elections. Wiki Puerto Rico if you doubt it. I'll bet money Obama thinks he went their for their votes.
