Slightly more adventurous video here (and a bit of fun) starting with the greatest theme tune in Hollywood history. Its all downhill after that...
The La Coupole V2 rocket site was designed to launch 5-60 V2 rockets on London every day.
Concentrated and never ending Allied bombing in the summer of 1944 forced the Germans to abandon the site and never launch a single rocket.
After the introduction, a few clips of V2's being launched is shown. The video then moves to the entrance door to the museum, formally a railway line into the rock face.
Why the Star Wars theme? The V2 was the first intercontinental missile and led eventually to the Apollo mission to the Moon in the 1960's. Plus the 'Sonderbauten' chimes with the whole Death Star concept.
Please take a look at Video History Today http://www.videohistorytoday.com , the first web site to offer unique collections of re-usable original video clips designed for teachers and students.
The idea behind Video History Today is to give schools the raw material to make mini-documentaries and video essays on historical subjects.
Initial packages focus on World War I (Somme and Ieper areas), The Holocaust, the American Civil War and D-Day & Normandy 1944.
I enjoyed that, very good! One minor point though is that in the video you state that the Tallboy at 12000lb was the largest bomb in the Allied arsenal, in fact the largest bomb in the Allied arsenal was the Grand Slam at 22000lb almost twice the size.

@HarrowBoyz I stand corrected. Hadn't heard of the Grand Slam (great name that). I think I read the 'largest bomb' line off a notice at the museum. Clearly I was wrong. Thx for correction.

Really enjoyed making it. Bit OTT but it seemed to suit the topic.
