Two years after its launch in China, Europe and other major global markets, the Ford Fiesta is finally coming to the U.S. in 2010 and will be on display at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show. The subcompact Fiesta was last sold here in 1980.

Ford introduced the sixth-generation Fiesta in early 2008, following the car's unveiling as the Verve concept at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. The Fiesta is currently built in Spain, Germany and China and will go into production next year in Thailand.

I bought one in Australia last September and yes this car is AWESOME. Yes, I got the green one. They drive like a dream, feel very solid on the road and very very cheap to run. They will be popular in US, they made small car of the year here in Australia.
