Checked out RantingGuy's channel: 'tis our man . . . the poet, probably the guitarist, and, I think, the warm voice reading the "Trawlerman".
Now with the merest biographical information on the elusive Mr. Howard Bull, my appreciation for "The Trawlerman" has, perhaps, a poet's face, voice, and time frame. I sense the words describe an era long preceding their poet, thus a strong historical element is assumed. A poignant eulogy?
Awaiting Mr. Bull's memoir.

The peom wasn't intended as a handbook on deep sea fishing but merely a tribute to the guys who face nature's powerful forces to bring home food for our tables.
