Imran Khan.

Khan was heavily critical of the ways in which General Musharraf, President Asif Ali Zardari and the US had carried out their military offensive in the tribal areas of Pakistan since 2004. He said they had failed to distinguish between al-Qaida and the Taliban, which held limited ideological beliefs. No Pashtun, he said, had ever been involved in international terrorism.

Drone attacks, Khan said, were barbaric, and killed many more civilians than they did militants. This was insane, immoral and a sure way to radicalise young Pakistanis. The key to an improvement in the regional situation was political change, and only a sovereign government would be able to separate the tribal people from the extremists.

@mit11365 ur wrong, taliban offered to hand over Bin Laden to japan or another neutral country. Taliban may have been a nuisance but being a fundamentalist does not make u a terrorist.They youth were radiclized after the american invasion of iraq and afghanistan. taliban are not the enemy.
