@JNathanK2011 Right now this short isn in animatic mode. Plus they just move the mouth right now. And moving the jaw along with the mouth takes more time than just animating the mouth. A lot of new cartoons today are doing it. Production time costs money.

The guy on the left voiced by the same guy as Mordecai (J.G. himself I thinks) can be seen in some of the actual Regular Show episodes walking around and doing shit in the background.

@AiellaRose you can pretty much animate the mouths by having them on a separate layer then scan them and edit them in what ever program you're using. That's how he does it.

So how do you have the exact same drawing, with only the mouth moving? I always wondered and I want to create my own animated movie. Does he just like trace the body and redraw he mouth or something?
