I was notified by GE money bank that there were two charges both for Renfe Madrid and Interest foreign charge transaction fee, totaled about $220.00. I have no idea what it is and I have not ordered or purchased anything using my card on that. It was transferred to my new card, but I received a letter from GE to file and further to investigation dept.

Are those charges was really a fraud?

Great! stick it to the poor retailer. The truth is we retailer already pay for all those stolen credit cards. The banks and card companies ( same thing) charge it back, they never take a loss. Ask ANY retailer who pay's already. The problem is with the banks and the cc companies.

Thank you for this important info. I'm a little worried because I have a debit card but I don't even use it much I only go to my bank atm when I want to get money and I don't have a credit card- Thanks again.
