    They were going on about the height on her landings, and I was sitting here thinking "Really? She's not getting THAT much height." But then I realized that there was no spring or give in the floor as there usually is in today's competitions to give the gymnastics extra height. Absolutely amazing.

    This event was before the Montreal Olympics but in later interviews both Nadia and Bela have lied about being shocked that a perfect score can be awarded.

    It is true, when Nadia came to gym to her coach after more than 10 years her coach had to explain her that the floor now is not so hard,it gives extra height and all that and she was like:WHAT?REALLY?
