She was talking about her relationship, the magazine made it look bad. She used the words "he" I didn't see her call him a girl anywhere in the article.

the article was about your relationship, totally. and derek was part of that.

i could see how maybe this article wasnt explicitly about trans people in that, WE are the people identifying derek as trans. that is to say, maybe he doesn't self-identify as trans.

that being said, talking about the article in relation to trans issues is relevant. the language within the article speaks to larger societal issues about gq & t identites, and are important to discuss & debate.

Sheri: the title of this article says it all... if this were simply about your relationship, it would have nothing to do with the fact that he is trans. that is an attack on him personally for who he is, and ultimately an attack on the trans community. the fact that he is trans is the only reason your relationship made it into the magazine in the first place.

this article wasnt about the trans gendered people!!! it was about mine an dereks* relationship an his lies. So before you make some stupid video bout this get your story straight. Seriously you read the article at least be able to summarize it corretly.
