They all sound like crap in this video

Interesting. In this vid I like the Keely sound the best but I like my Allum's DS1, but not necessarily straight up and down like demonstrated here. Wonder what this test would show with other settings. And yeah the stock DS1 is plain and simply horrid :)

This video my be the sub 3 minute standard for Youtube demo videos!
Clear demo. You rock! That's what we are here for... to learn quickly!

@AlFguitar992 The pedals were all set the same. The volume difference is because the mods are all different. The Keeley is notorious for being very loud and the stock DS-1 is very quiet. The sound quality is fine. They sound exactly the same in this video as they do in person.

@MrRussDiggy Yes it was done correctly. It will sound very different depending on what amp you use it with.

@mikelinden214 It also depends on if you change to Allums' 1N4002 Diodes. I didn't change the diodes as it said in the mod sheet, and my DS-1 still sounds like a DS-1...just higher fidelity and better, smoother signal response.

@DORKYBA55ATTACK Right, I did change to the 1N4002's.

is that a classic or standard?

@cerebrix It's a Solidbody classic with single, single, hm configuration. I only use the HG bridge humbucker pickup in this video. I have another video where you can see the guitar, just look at my videos and you can't miss it. I have a standard with HD hums in it too. Great guitars.
