    my friend has a lot of muscle in her calves and she hates it because she feels masculine and wants to slim her calves and thighs to look more feminine. she read online that she cannot do squats or any kind of leg exercises cuz that will never make her calves get smaller. that all she can do is running, walking, and upper body in order to loose weight. is this true?

    You cannot spot reduce. Plain and simple. Some people are lucky to know where the fat on their body is lost first when they lose weight but other than they, you can't spot reduce. Chances are it's her body type. I would suggest not walking or running on an incline if she uses a treadmill and avoid "calf raises" when exercising. Truth be told when I was strength training with a trainer, my calves did get bigger! I stopped doing the weighted calf raises and they went back down.

    Really great workout !! I Can't wait to try it. But i want to buy a mat like yours for the floor exercices. Can you recommand me somes please? How thick should i buy it, especially for exercices on back?

    The mat is by a company called Plank. They are based out of Boston. To be honest, it is very slippery when I use it in yoga class. As soon as I start to sweat it sucks.
