The phone won't fall. I just tested it with a galaxy S. Just make sure you place correctly the phone (center it ).

@kronedrum It's CR-115
And it holds very well the phone. I don't recommand it with slim phones (like Galaxy S or Iphone 4). It's designed for larger phones (Nokia N95 , n85 , N82 or Sony Ericsson phones).
Never had any problem at any speed on any road with this holder.
