Ratchet and Clank - One Heck Of A Ride [BETA]

What's this? This isn't a movie or tv show? Yep, this is a video game. My FIRST stab at an AMV using footage from video games (I'm a little hesitant to call it a GMV. I always thought GMVs were heavy in gameplay) and it's using my favourite game franchise of all time, Ratchet and Clank. Damn, I've ALWAYS wanted to do this. I know I said I wanted to do one for Okami first, and then hinted at a Shadow Of The Colossus one, but the song I wanted to do for Okami seems to be targeted a lot by WMG (even recently) and the pair of SOTC videos will require a lot of gameplay to be recorded. This was the happy medium.

I really need some input here. I'm not 100% sure on my editing direction through most of this video and working with a game like Ratchet and Clank is harder than games like Final Fantasy (or Kingdom Hearts) which have hours worth of dramatic-story driving cutscenes. Yet I can't approach this the same way as Shadow Of The Colossus. Soooo, any pointers or input I'll look at. Oh, and I don't know what to do with the title. I just named it that because I wanted to put in that line Ratchet says when they're about to crash towards the end.

This video is about Ratchet and Clank's friendship, spoken from Ratchet's voice in Clank's head (...go with it). The beginning takes place when Clank is mulling over maintaining the clock and risking it's destruction in order to save Ratchet's life. Ratchet has spent a good chunk of the series being hard-headed and a bit of a jerk, but they still remain to be good buddies. Read the blog. I explained it better there before I had to render this about 20 times because the clips decided to multiply themselves 0__0

Huh, and I just remembered All 4 One will be released this Tuesday. Good timing I guess? Doubt I'm getting it at full price. The design, concept, and gameplay make me a little worried.

I loved playing the first games of the Ratchet and Clank series for PS2. I remember playing them when I was little and even today it's still one of my favorite series. I haven't been able to play any of the new ones but I definitely hope to someday.
