@bokkreviewing Oh wow you remember too! All I know is that the candy was discontinued, or banned in Indiana in the late 80's. But it was real popular til then. I used my lunch money to but it at the candy store in H.S.,lol. Is it still available in other states? I asume it is. Thnx for reply.

@musclecarluvr1 Poprocks, and the kid in question was supposed to be mikey from the life cereal commercials. However the byproduct of drinking too much pop rocks and soda is usually a large amount of burping and in worst case vomiting. You'd have to try really hard to actually burst your stomach just from eating pop rocks and soda.

*this cereal

If you let his cereal get soggy, it was the most disgusting inedible mess in the world.

@andoc Do you remember the candy that fizzled and popped when you put it in your mouth? I cant remember the name. It was discontinued in late 80's, and there was a rumor a kid ate so much it almost killed him. I dont think it was pop rocks(still made). Was it stardust? ..Cosmic candy? cant remember!

I remember the Nerds. I hated them even as a child.

@riceboy1701e Correction. Ralston appears prominently on the cereal box itself. In very tiny words at the bottom of the screen, at the end of the commercial, you can make out "Ralston-Purina Company".

@jokersmidnightshow That's because back then, if you noticed, there was the word "Ralston" at the very bottom. Ralston-Purina was the same company. Yes, Ralston had the cereal/grains side, and Purina made pet foods. Still does.
