@0172shane this is not useless and not stupid... its a great idea !!!! as it eleminate dangerous torque and gyroscopic effect of a standard propeller paramotor unit, also there is no risk of being hit by a turning propeller
-
seems like a fair bit of power for such small engines. Would do even better on a lighter foot launch. Apart from the noise, a great idea

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen so many trolls in one place. Why does everybody have to point out how "this isn't practical" or "this doesn't look safe." Yeah, buddy, you're right. It's unsafe. He should be wearing a parachute. Oh, wait...
And who the **** says "that CAN'T be efficient" and then asks, "is it?" You just said it was impossible for it to be efficient.
YOU are why kids play video games now instead of flying control-line planes, hunting birds with a slingshot, and going camping.
Useless useless what's point you have got jet pack and fly bird can pass you easy.
And paraglide if I'm spelling it right its about joy and fly through wind with help of gravity not stupid jet pack it's not 007 god sake it's paraglide..!!

@0172shane This was a poof-of-concept for a stunt group working on some new ideas. The pilot and and designer have worked on many movie sets, including 007 & Batman. Google Sky-Science for the pilot, Allan Hewitt and Kinetic Vehicles for the designor, Jack McCornack. Interesting people.
