@MrISIB On top of that I made $15,000 and went home. I have doubled down and gotten too many ones, 2's and so on. It's so rare to get that 10 every time. It's a suckers bet. Why do you think the casino's embrace that idea. "Always Double Down with a 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 showing if you have a 10 or an 11" Always split 8's even if the dealer has a 10 showing or even an ace up. There is no such thing as always. So you play your blackjack your way sport and let's see how successful you become.

@MrISIB You are one of many asians that follow direction of the "Book" and the floor managers and of course dealers. I doubled how many times....dealer showing a 6 pulls a 5 under then an ace then you think oh ok here comes the 10 right? Nope a perfect 9. Or they show a 3 then 7 under and then that ace comes up. I have been doing this way too long to know the "Odds" are against you. I went one day with $5,000 and lost $4,200 playing basic strategy. Then I switched how I played got the money back

you make your money by splitting and doubling down. People that don't double down against break cards are stupid and your obviously stupid if your scared of a 6 when you have 11.

Yeah that's real smart.... I see all the dumb ass asians doing that and they always end up losing more then winning. The house wants you to double down. Why do you think they embrace "the book" and "basic strategy"?? Because people will believe anything they are told over and over, especially by word of mouth. Hey, there's a book out there. If works. Doubling down is for the greedy. I love when someone doubles down and the dealer shows a 3,4,5,6 and they pull a 20 or 21 and take their money. LOL
